Horseshoe bend ... Not too shallow you said ... dud ... Over a thousand feet deep actually. Thanks for being pictured wearing your life vest ... amazing how few people are wearing their PFD on that Marble Canyon downstream ride back to Lee's Ferry. Thanks.

I'd like to record my adventures this year. I'm probably going with an Insta369 Ace. What mounting system did you use to mount your X3 to the yak? This recording stuff is quite new to me.

Your video was shot in Glen Canyon. Marble Canyon is downstream from Lee's Ferry. Dam to Lee's Ferry is all Glen Canyon. Never the less that is a world class adventure.

Outstanding job! I'm a big fan of keeping it simple with paint job! Everything looks fantastic! Hopefully, I'll be able to finish my kit considering VAN's recent financial problem disclosure.

Nice video! Stunning scenery. When in October did you go? Weather looked nice during the day? How cold was it at nighttime? Thanks

You guys are adorable! Obviously looked warm during the day, but how was the temps day/night? I'm planning a trip either in Sept or October, so I'm curious!

Just stumbled upon your video, may I ask what the black device (2:43) behind the baggage compartment is?? Just couldn't make it out. I plan to order my empennage kit next month.

i know someone with a spectrum tx and he lost three planes due to it malfunctioning it only takes 1 component to break down and whatever your flying is coming down regardless of price weight how many engines nothing is 100% ive had no problems with my turnigy 9x

Hey Tom! if you dont mind me asking, which kit did you start with first? Im told to start with the landing gear but i see many others start with the fuselage and empenage
@TomLombardi7 жыл бұрын
apt_nova, I would start with the empenage, the vertical stabizer is a fun part to make first and is not difficult to do. Most builders start on the empenage. If this is your first build find someone to show you the ropes or attend an EAA Sportair workshop, it's well worth the time and money.

Hi friend, could you tell me how long time was expended for complete built? Thank you.
@TomLombardi7 жыл бұрын
2 years and over 1800 hrs. Our build had a lot of options like built in oxygen, A/C, AOA indicator, overhead lighting with vents and A/C control, TCAS, custom center console and lots of other goodies.

Hi, could you tell me if you can build it with a plane or how it can be done. And if that's how I can get the plans. Thank you

A very professional video and well done indeed. I'm looking for a replacement of my old Futaba Digimax 5 and this model seemed ideal and very inexpensive considering what it has in it. but....do I really need a computer screen to fly a model plane, my old Futaba, just switched on and I set controls by altering the servo arms/control wires/control horns, these modern sets just seem to be over computerised. The Screen would have been nicer in blue. It would also be nice like my Futaba with DEAC rechargeable battery to have a Li-po battery in the TX. Still looking not made my mind up yet what to buy.

I'm looking to get one of these for my model boat and I've noticed that while the transmitter has 9 channels, the receiver only lists 8. How do the 9 channels translate to the 8 channels on the receiver as I would like to have 2 channels to operate on/off functions and the rest to operate the throttle and servos? Any help would be gratefully received.
@arendmookhoek43149 жыл бұрын
+Atreius Lux the receiver is 8 channel and u need a differrent receiver if u want to use all 9

Got my Turnigy 9x. Got excited so plugged my battery into it that was recommended for the controller, accidentally plugged the negative and positive in reverse. Smoke came out and I think it is fried. Sucks because ordering things to Canada costs as much as the item does. Any way to salvage it?
@Glamplitude9 жыл бұрын
+Aubatron Hi there! I'm desperately looking for a dead 9X for parts. Do you still have yours? In particular, I really need the RF9X-v2 transmitter module off the back. Would you be interested to flog yours for scrap?

I'm building a hovercraft with 2 fans and 1 servo. I use an HK60F remote I'm wondering if I'll need a second receiver so each fan has one recover on it.
It would seem to me the trainer switch should be an easy fix. They are just momentary switches. If it is a momentary normally open, change it out to a momentary normally closed. Any good electric supply company should stock them in various styles and lengths.
@philldownes86852 жыл бұрын
he only needs to turn the switch round and its what he is looking for anyway..
