Scary? No! As long as the drone is flying high enough, it is always safe and when you are uncertain brake or when it is needed hit the RTH (Return-To-Home) button. The Mavic 3 series can land rather accurately.

Along my common testing route, this Mavic 3 Pro + RC Pro can commonly reach more than 4km and the limit was 6.3km. My area is slightly hilly and woddy (i.e, tall trees and forest).

Which button? There are two version: Cetus FC and BetaFlight FC. The BetaFlight FC version comes with the ELRS protocol, which is the one discussed in this video. The Cetus FC has the FrSky D8, an older version. The control board may be slightly different.

This was a 4+ old drone, which has not been used for a long time. I don't even know where it is now. I would strongly recommend you to upgrade to the Potensic ATOM, which is rather good. If you wish to have a powerful WayPoint feature and budget is a little limited, try the FIMI X8 MINI 3. The FIMI X8 MINI 3 is better to much better than the Potensic ATOM in terms signal penetration, waypoint and other intelligent flights. However, it is more expensive. When did you get your Cetus X and LiteRadio 3? The Cetus X could have ELRS V2.x.x while your LiteRadio 3 may have ELRS V3.x.x. They are not compatible at all. All of my Cetus X drones have ELRS V2.x.x. So, if your LiteRadio 3 is a more recent one, it could have ELRS V3.x.x, which is not compatible with your Cetus X and vice versa. These days, due to the ELRS development team forgot the backward compatibility issue, I am leaving ELRS and moving back to DJI. If a development team failed to recognize the issue of backward compatibility (even from V3.x.x back to V2.x.x) this team has a very very serious problem. If this team acts the same, this team will die very quickly because they do not know software development at all. BTW, I am a computer scientist who has worked in the industry for decades.

@ makes total sense I updated to the latest firmware for the cetus, I just got it last week.

@@ckshene7212 I checked it to see so it doesn't say exactly ELRS 3 but I see BETAFPVF4SX1280 ( board ) 4,5,1 July 2024 , when I go to CLI and hit version I see 3c54148 when I go to flash the firmware and detect the board this is the same firmware it wants to install so I didn't it's already on there. I know the controller is ELRS 3 . I'm ready to just send this thing back, there support documents make zero sense and good luck getting a return email from them.

I have to inform you that the Potensic ATOM can't do what you want to do. The WayPoint of the ATOM is very primitive. If you wish to add POIs, you perhaps should use a FIMI X8 Mini V3. Don't worry because computers can never replace human as human brain a much more powerful than computers. A. Turning, the founding father of computers at least in theory demonstrated that there are many problems computer cannot solve no matter how powerful the computers are. Yes, they can be faster than human, but they just cannot match or simulate the sophisticated thinking and reasoning process human can do. In the 1970s people were worrying about computer can take human's job when computers will become more powerful. But, now nearly every home may have a computer of some kind and computers are doing many things for us so that we could spend our precious time on other more interesting and useful things. As a matter of fact, computers are still out tools. In the future, AI will still be our tool and our intelligence will elevate to another level.

All defaults. When I fly my drone the first few times, I always use default values. This is not the issue of the TX, it is due to the power of the motor being too weak. My WhoopFly 16 flew much better under defaults and is more powerful. My WhoopFly16 can even carry a Peanut!

No. It was because there was no sunlight. When the environment is so bright, I always use my XREAL Air 2 Pro. If you also happen to have a RC Pro, please keep in mind that you should use the USB-C port at the rear of the RC Pro rather than the HDMI connector.

The connection and flying experience are exactly the same. For RC Pro, just plug the supplied USB-C cable to the USB-C port (i.e., the middle one) of the RC Pro and you are all set. I flew my Mavic 3 Classic and Mavic 3 Pro with the setup and I am happy with it. We are having snow storm after snow storm for about 2 weeks, and, therefore, won't be able to fly any drone. Sorry about this. I did the same with my Air 3 and RC2. It has been all good. If you need prescription lenses, you have to pay more because there is no way to adjust diopter in any AR glasses.

That is right. FIMI has the tendency to add just a little to a model and give it a new name.

This is the FIMI X8 Mini 3. FIMI always marked it this way and never V3. But, FIMI does have a V2. IMO, the sequence looks like Mini, Mini V2 and Mini 3.

Yes, I can do them; but, I don't think it is very easy. The Aquila 16 is a very good entry level FPV drone. However, I don't think it is as good as the Cetus X and Sub250's WhoopFly16. This is my own opinion.

If you mean the connection between the NEO and RC2, it is easy AFTER you update all software. But, the upgrade and activation process is better done using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) as it is much easier. As for connection between the RC2 and an AR glasses, it is plug-and-play by plugging the USB-C cable supplied by the AR glasses to the RC2. That is it. Happy flying!

I don't have the RC-N3 yet and hence am not able to answer your first question. On the other hand, I did use a NC2 and a FPV goggles with HDMI input to fly a Mini 2. Given this fact, it is always possible to fly a NEO using NC3. What you need is a wireless HDMI screen mirroring device (and its app) to mirror the phone screen to that device, which is connected to a HDM (input) I-to-USBC (output) adaptor. This works although it is a bit clumsy and requires two 5V power inputs, one for the screen mirroring dongle and the other for the HDMI-to-USBC adapter. For your second question, you can add a USB-C to Display Port adapter to receive the USB-C output. In fact, I used this setup to send the video output of my 2018 Mac mini to the older Apple Display (Thunderbolt compatible). BTW, the easiest solution is buying a DJI RC2 and everything becomes straightforward as shown in my video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2GbnoNnYtCqa5o Nowadays you can get a cheap NEW to USED RC2 on eBay around $250 or even less. I bought my 3rd RC2 for $220.00-.

No crash at all. My little NEO passed all the tests. The only exception was it cut corners once; but, it could be my fault. For the fourth one, maybe I could go a little farther and walk toward between the trees. I will definitely try it some days later. Because I live in an area full of trees and forest, when I travel I would need a drone that can do these things that many would even consider.
