These are picture opals, mined in Queensland, Australia. I buy a few at a time at the market every year and photograph them.

This is absolutely amazing. Your method of showing is wonderful. Showcasing the stone without interruption. Bornite .. it's beautiful, I don't believe I've ever seen it before. Thank you so much for sharing. Wonderful video

ありがとう! I found Bornite by chance at the market. It was particularly beautiful. The iridescent was mixed with gold, and I could see the clear crystals. I thought it was wonderful! Please enjoy other videos shot in high resolution and quality.

How do you make it rec709 first ? I use davinci and cannot figure it out
@ShoYama4 ай бұрын
The color space setting for recording should be in the camera menu. I think .709 is a common color space setting. For that reason, it is probably the default setting unless you change it specifically. In editing software, there is a way to convert from other color space settings to .709 using LUT presets downloaded from the manufacturer. However, I basically use .709 because thinking about color space settings is tiring. Also, there are some slightly complicated things, such as the difference in concepts between rec.709 and BT.709. To be honest, I don't really understand it technically.
Shot with HDR PQ settings. After that, it is edited on BT.709.

@@ShoYama then you shot in HDR and converted it to SDR, defeating any point of shooting in HDR... what a pointless video, I would take it down as this isn't a useful comparisson for anyone.

@@majormaccas I see, this may be the wrong way to use HDR photography. Thank you for your helpful comments. Sometimes, HDR data is edited on SDR along with other footage. In that case, I adjust the HDR shooting data to reduce the highlights and compress the dynamic range.
