I think the ideal (or we can say "definitive") remake of Super Mario 64 It should have, in addition to updated graphics according to the console of the moment in its standard mode, such as the Switch or the next generation (Switch 2 is a name considered), have the option to change to previous graphics settings, such as the DS and the N64 of the original edition. For adventure mode, we could put a "solo mode", with Mario or any of the characters that we know from the DS (Yoshi, Luigi, Wario) or the addition of new ones (a possible Waluigi, who knows? Or another one... or even Peach after unlocking her or another character, or Daisy, or Toad, etc.); or the "DS mode", which is merely the SM64DS game with additions. In addition to some "surprises" particular to the edition itself, such as new stages, easter eggs, modes and much more.
