Thank you Brother Marty for being sensitive and sharing your deep feelings with your Brothers and Sisters. Our Lord so compassionate and deeply caring showed His love for others through shedding tears for them! I'm 84 years old, and I read some Scripture that caused me to experience deep feelings and I open up and had a good cry! I felt much better later...it was almost a "Spiritual Relief" for me. God Bless you for your honest feelings...always keep them!!!

I had heard that at that time a commander of 100 men would have a torch and a horn. It would look like they were surrounded by an invading army of 300,000 when they woke up from sleep by the sound in the middle of the night.

I really like to listen to Bible Classes at Choctaw online. I am being "reinforced" in my Bible study! I really appreciate Marty's teaching of these Classes. I like the way he shows us, from time to time, how these OT Scriptures are pertinent for us today. Even though They refer to another time and Culture, God has made Them applicable for all Believers across time! Very good job Brother Marty! I'm really impressed with the way Brothers and Sisters at Choctaw read the assigned Scriptures. They are not just reading words, but with emphasis...the Word of God! Really appreciate Marty's comment...Jesus said, "Go into all the World and make Disciples..."! This is really so important...to share our Faith in a lost World. If I wasn't a Christian...I know on the DAY of Judgement...I would "regret" that I'd never been Told! PS: Really appreciate Mike Mazzalongo's wonderful, informative Lessons also! Mike Bacherl

Marty, when our Leadership accepts homosexuality as a normal way of life...when young secondary ED school kids are taught they can "change" their genders...and some, through "mutilation and hormone theraphy" do attempt this...when young people in school taught to use "nongender" pronouns in reference to males & females...when young men can compete in "Girls' Athletics"...or use the same bathrooms & showers...are We any different from those who practice idol worship...while ignoring the True & Living God???

I love that Marty. He loves us that much. Jesus will tell the Father that we are with Him. We are His. What a feeling of joy that should bring.

You can see a range of emotions from Gideon. He is exasperated and feels hopeless due to the situation Israel finds itself in and does not see a way out as well as doubtful. I totally connect with these emotions at the state our nation is in at this very moment.

I am deeply encouraged by your honesty, bro.Charles. It has opened my eyes to be patient with fellow brothers and sisters as they struggle. Be patient as God was patient with Gideon. Not to look down upon them. May the Lord bless us all with wisdom that is from above. I am from the church of Christ, in Melaka, Malaysia.

Great point. Just because we don't feel forgiven, doesn't mean that we aren't. Trust His forgiveness. Let the heaviness of sin go. He doesn't hold it against us, so we can forgive ourselves also. Don't keep holding onto it. He wants us to have peace and know we are forgiven due to faith, not anything we've done.
