Such a simple and ingenious solution you wonder why you never thought of it yourself! It will be perfect for my wooden flutes

Hello, where can I find the video for the built-ins?
@TheUnprofessional6 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, I didn’t capture the built-in portion, but it was the easiest part of the project. I divided the space in 3 and subtracted the thickness of the plywood, then built three equal sections with just two sides and a back support piece. I secured them in place with screws and used two pieces of plywood across the top and trimmed the whole thing. I also added lighting for the top and in each compartment.

Has the bottle trap clogged yet? They're known for clogging often and being hard to unclog so this is a real question after 5 years. Btw they're against code because of it afaik.
@TheUnprofessional2 ай бұрын
No clogs! Yes, I have heard they are against code. If I ever move I’ll swap it out. But it still looks great and no issues with clogging so for now I’m so happy with the outcome. 🎉

Hi, looks great. Love the ranch/industrial mid century aesthetic. Since the walls are not water tight, have you noticed any damage to items in storage? I like how simple it is but am concerned about rust with excess moisture getting in. Cheers!
@TheUnprofessionalАй бұрын
Thanks! I haven’t had any problems with rust, but it you are worried about it you could add a layer of tar paper or OSB pretty easily. I’d be more concerned about water coming in through the ground since I don’t have a proper floor, but I used a very thick layer of gravel and graded it to avoid water from coming in.

The only negative I can see here is the legs. A much broader ‘foot’ would be very helpful. But now I’m going to look into this, as I’m seeking to make something similar.

I thought you might include the materials you used in your description for those of us with little to no experience but I didn't see anything listed. I heard you say you used Paver Base. How many bags of that base material did you have to use and were those just any rocks you used? Sorry I am new to all this! LOL!
