thranduils pain was tangible. a pain i can relate with he didnt see the point of exisiting without the knowledge of being loved.. if theres nothing driving someone they give up. his heart was loyal. life was tragic. often good hearts end up with the same fate. ill will never understand why

I can't help but think that Thranduil was speaking for HIMSELF and not for Legola's mother. Thranduil loved Legolas more than life. But as a king, he will not show his emotions too much.

I love how in the movie in spite of their differences and beliefs. Thrandruill still want the best for his son. You can see his love for him in spite of the grief and pain that burden his heart. Not only does he send Aragorn a most worthy ally but a brother to his son. He sees the greatness of character in Aragorn and at the same time the need for Legolas to bond and unite with such a strong man. Iron sharpens iron. That's what many men need today.

I have written the true story of lives of the Elves, hopefully one day it will reach the big screen 😇 I did tell Peter Jackson on FB, YT years ago, there must be a movie created, regarding the lives of the Elves, time will tell, however, I have got a great version🌞✨
