@@DavidMateusReis Cassios' love is tragic but also pure, he gives his life to the person he loves without asking for anything in return, because Shaina's happiness comes even before his own and even if this means leaving her to Seiya. Shaina probably would have sacrificed her life to save Seiya from Aiolia, but Cassios prefers to sacrifice himself in Shaina's place. Every time I see that scene it brings a tear to my eye. Unfortunately Cassios is not beautiful aesthetically and he has not enjoyed much success among fans, for me he deserves a little more space in the fandom. For example, I find the success of the Milo x Shaina pairing absurd and ridiculous, fanfic, fanart and there are even amvs on KZbin dedicated to 2 characters who never even meet or even speak to each other in the entire story. And some even call them the "perfect couple and supreme OTP". I mean, were fans more impressed by Milo killing kids in cold blood on the island of Andromeda, rather than Cassios' love? Sometimes I wonder if many Saint Seiya fans have major problems with minimal text comprehension and/or psychiatric problems.

In life I am a scientist and a teacher, quite rigid and severe, it irritates me to argue with idiots, who if I met them in real life I would kick in the ass. Even today I wonder what series fans of some totally absurd and senseless ships such as: - Aiolos x Seika (they are completely unaware of each other's existence and there is a noticeable age difference) -Camus and Natassia, Camus adoptive father of Hyoga because yes, in fact they are 2 other characters who completely ignore each other's existence -Camus x Hilda because oh well...they will be linked to the cold -Shaka x Geist, Eden x Lascoumune & Dohko x Tetis I wonder how they invented them. Why invent clearly absurd ships when the anime shows touching scenes? What could have ever been liked about Saint Seiya and then ridiculed everything in the fandom? In life I am used to using logic and the mathematical method and I wonder what the point is of calling oneself a fan of Saint Seiya or of a particular character if one then goes against the most obvious and important characteristics. One last thing that I have always found absurd is that in the end it is Saori who talks about love in Saint Seiya, who for years had been characterized as sadistic, arrogant, a lover of torture, whippings, beatings, various mistreatment, mafia-style blackmail and the like. .. Seiya hated her more than any other person in the world and then he forgets everything when Saori is kidnapped by Damian and they become friends. Saori goes from torturing orphaned children for fun to being a holy martyr almost without reason, she remembers that she is Athena and becomes the protector of humanity (I doubt the 90 children who died in the search for the various cloth by will of Mistumasa).

Anyway, I totally understand some ships like Shaina x Seiya, Cassios x Shaina, Shiryu x Shunrei, Ikki x Esmeralda. Saori was a spoiled child and has probably already paid for all the suffering caused and has become more mature as a result, but she doesn't deserve Seiya's love, his loyalty is enough.
