Thank you! I was really unsure about this video as it's super niche and a bit different compared to my other content I've been posting. I might do some more content around building DJ sets, we'll see.

@wesleywild-s9x18 күн бұрын
So it basically stretches things in to phase 🤔?
@DaddaPsy18 күн бұрын
Pretty much. This stretching happens because the phase shift messes with the timing of each cycle. Some frequencies are delayed more than others, so the wave gets pulled apart.

ok this is pretty useful i have never considered using disperser to offset the phase before haha I've only used it for sound design f*ckery edit: i just realized, you could mess around with an horter decay/release time envelope or some form of compression to deal with the kick's length getting longer from the disperser

OMG ! I recovered an hard disk from 2012, listening the songs i did of this years i was remembering how I appreciated the best plugin ever on 32 bits systems, i checked today on 2024 and you put the vst plugins for the systems of nowadays. you are incredible !! it runs on any windows and on Mac ! Thank you so much !! You are a legend !! <3 Are there any way to support you ? I want to support for your work... thx thx thx !

First VST synth i bought, in a shop, i remember it as a cd in carton box :) then when windows moved, the vst did not move with it. Last time i bought Rob Papen software.

This video is great, Thank you! while we are on the Fungus Funk topic, i have been trying to figure out how the sound near the end of 'Fur Bikini" (that is in sequence with the robotic sound) is made. Do you know?
@DaddaPsyАй бұрын
Such a good track! I'm unsure which sound you're referring to. Can you time stamp it and I'll try and look it up?
@izzimmbАй бұрын
@@DaddaPsy always fun trying to describe audio, it is the Wah-wah sound (before and right after the robotic sound) starting at the 6:03 mark. Edit: also starting at the 5:10 mark

@@izzimmb Ah! It sounds like a bitcrushed squelch (if we're referring to the same sound). I've done a video that kind of gets the sound you're after here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZqoimWbebOUmK8

Livecut's audio keeps cutting off for some reason for me :/ like it outputs sound for 3 secs then cuts off
@DaddaPsy2 ай бұрын
I think that's because you've been messing around with SubDiv and Seed? Try the exact settings I have on screen and see if it solves the problem
@silverkip29922 ай бұрын
@@DaddaPsy Nope it happens even with the default settings, and also with the 32bit version in fl studio's wrapper. I found on a forum that it's probably a bug where it outputs silence instead of unprocessed audio. The other version of 64bit livecut supposedly fixes this, but trying to compile it gives me an error on my computer. I'll try again compiling on my laptop this time.

I set everything up like in this video but mine is not giving me the same results... It's playing very randomly and you can clearly hear the gating cutting off etc. I tried everything and many different patches and it's just very unpleasant unlike your one in the video... what am I doing wrong?

Have you set "GATE" to 100% / 100% and "EXT/INT MIX" to 100% / 100% (the big knobs to the right on the device)

@@DaddaPsy yup everything is exactly the same on the Autogrid channel - i hear your sequences are playing nicely and mine are just cutting off very steeply :( What I don't understand now is you have a plugin on the midi channel called "Autoplay" - what's that for and what would happen if you didn't have it there?

No way! They brought back Albino!? I loved that synth! I was really sad when it became abandonware. It was an FM monster. The way it handled multiple oscillators that you could blend between was really cool. It was like wavetable before wavetable was everywhere. The filter scream module and effects were great too

O estilo se chama psytrance. Existem muitos gêneros dentro do psytrance, então é bastante amplo. Tente procurar gravadoras como 'Digital Shaman Records', 'Looney Moon Records' e 'Bom Shanka Music' para sons semelhantes.
