The Vikings true to form as they have been for my sad 50 years of being a fan.

This game is what made the Andrew Luck era fun. I remember Mike and Mike playing the radio calls in their intro the following morning, including TY Hilton’s touchdown (”Touchdown: TY”) from the third quarter. Sweet memories.

These teams used to play 1800 miles apart. Now they share the same stadium and there is no team in either city.

Dawk’s forced fumble to essentially win the game is my favorite play of his career hands down. He played so primal and feral, really looking like a Wolverine out there, but it was also a smart heads up play to know the situation and to play the ball rather than the qb. That play, to me, truly sums up 20’s game.

lol man I remember watching this game so long ago. Leslie Frazier was so ass as the Vikings coach and this season was so embarrassing from the start but for some reason Cassel went nuclear this game and was accurate as hell with no Peterson.

Wow, what a massive difference it makes when defenses aren't flagged for every single normal tackle. Both defenses were unbelievably aggressive, and I kept wondering why teams don't do that these days. Then I realized, "Oh yeah, they can't because the rules have been changed to hamstring defenses and not allow them to do their jobs." This was fun to watch. Real football.

Dom capers defense the season before was dead last in yards allowed and set an NFL record for passing yards allowed. Then he gave this wonderful performance. Mike McCarthy still kept him for 5 more seasons.
