Does the internal side of the house need to be taped on the joints with a vapor membrane?

Hello @oaklejant, Sorry this is a bit of a late reply but for anyone else looking at this question, yes SIP tape is required on the joins internally for optimum airtightness. This is part of our building system.

Do you have the 1/8" spacing between shearing for expansion? What about strapping for wind? How do the base plates fasten to the panels and do also incorporate corner ties between floors/levels? So many questions......

Great job, thanks for sharing. Recently I was reading about OSB manufacturing and then I learned that this material can release toxic gases into the environment. Do you have any information on this subject? Thanks for listening.

We have a Declare label to prove that there aren't toxic gases released. Declare is a transparency platform and an international product database that is changing the materials marketplace. It is a nutrition label for the building industry. It helps architects, designers, specifiers, and others better understand a product’s sustainable qualities and environmental effects. A Declare label achieves this by providing full transparency around: ◆ Where the product comes from; ◆ What it’s made of, and; ◆ Where it goes at the end of its life. Formance SIPs have undertaken a series of tests in order to attain this label, including being sent to Australia for testing and evaluation of VOC emissions against standard CDPH V1.2 (Jan 2017) Read more: formance.co.nz/news/were-declared/

I just watch this test on another video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4mQm6ZvnL2Gg6c In this video some of the people involved are giving statements about the data and performance of the building. I think this is an awesome display of engineering. ... however I would like to get the opinion(s) of the people who's hardhats are not brand new and shiny. The guys with dirty rough hands that build these buildings....I want to know what they think of the performance.
