The floorplan is terrible, with this LONG narrow hallway in the front that veers to the right, then the left, then to the right, then to the left again. The kitchen is nice but that floorplan needs work!

Worst advice. Home prices are likely to go down more than what they have now, if you pay more of the house with the seller credit, you are more likely to be able to refinance later on when interest rates are lower, but if you owe more than what the house is worth, you cannot refinance, unless you pay the difference.

In some cases you are correct but I have done many deals where the buyer doesn’t have to pay over asking to receive a seller credit. It’s a case by case situation. We appreciate your opinion!

@@luckyhomesgrouptx you're right, it is a case by case type of deal. but for the vast majority of people, getting a lower price home with the a seller credit, you will save in taxes and insurance as well. In FHA loans, you can reduce the number of years paying PMI from the life of the loan to 11 years.
