Actually Its no so hard on controler , you Just need to understant the game aspects, How cars react, How to deal wit gearbox manual. And couple of nesessary things.

I’m trying for top 10 on any Time Trial leaderboard, on a controller. Also I use no assistance. I’ve only played the game a week and I’m getting close. When I started I used the Classic cars and focused on driving on Tarmac and got down a fluid driving style foundation, no drifting all over the place. After that I moved to dirt, and also practiced allot of “gymkhana” drifting stuff in the “Free Roam” section. I use semi-auto transmission and play with 6 fingers simultaneously on the controller, with a high “Vortex” Kontrol Freek on the left stick.
