I fixed mine by emptying the little water reservoir that's at the back of the unit. It was full of water because I do a lot of steaming. Anytime that happens it's because the resevoir is full in my case. Never had to replace anything, I just empty the resevoir now anytime I use it.

This video is fabulous. I did need to watch it a bunch of times & had several false tries. But today, I calmly watched it again & it worked! Thank you! (Saved it for future use).

IT WORKED! Thank you so much! This was the best video I found online about this. They don't make my model anymore, with the LED bell-curve showing the progress in the heating and cool-down, so I'm glad I got to fix it!

PS: Sure enough, one side of the old pressure sensor was no longer clicking.

Come to Walton if you want striped bass. Easy to catch a bunch 15-20 inches but tricky to land a keeper. Hobart beach is ok but shallower

Will this work with the old school vertical slide windows? We don't have the horizontal ones.

Yes. It comes with a 90 degree adapter for vertical window openings.

What’s the deal on keeping them to make a meal
@SharingFuns3 ай бұрын
Mackerel is an excellent source of protein and vitamins B2, B3, B6, B12, and D. However, in my opinion, their taste is not as good as cod or haddock, and mackerels require more effort to fillet. Since haddock fillets are only $5-7 per pound at the local market, I rarely keep mackerels for meals. I did made a video on how to fillet and cook mackerels: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4GckKmZh6iLqM0

Wow that’s wild 5-7 per lb where I live in Alberta your looking at around 30-35 dollars , where in Nova Scotia, I used to play hockey for Halifax and Amherst jr A

I picked up the similar Danby unit, except matte black and 550sqft, a week ago at Costco. Also $549. Works great, other than the remote control. It only responds to the power and LED buttons. There is a "lock" graphic on the remote, so I'm guessing I accidentally child proofed it. The app looks like a much better means of control though, using schedules.
@KWHCoaster3 ай бұрын
Ah, got the remote unlocked. Press 9+10 buttons to unlock. Now to see if "Follow me" acts as a remote thermostat for the unit.

Does this need a drainage hose?
@SharingFuns3 ай бұрын
It's essential to drain the water periodically, but utilizing a drainage hose makes the process much simpler. In my experience, the unit doesn't accumulate a significant amount of water when operating in AC mode. However, when used as a dehumidifier, it collects more water, which is where the drainage hose comes in handy.

Mine is short cycling now. This is the second year… last summer it was fine. This summer with I hooked it up, the compressor runs for a few minutes and shuts off and just uses fan, then a couple minutes more, compressor kicks in again and blows cold. If I put the unit on low fan setting it will stay running.
@ChristopherShawnPike3 ай бұрын
You have to use a high voltage extension. It’s about $50 where I live. But have to do it otherwise the unit will give you a warning and not run.

Is there a way to turn on and off with timer? Mine just turns on..
@SharingFuns3 ай бұрын
Yes, when you add timer, you can select the option "Timer Off" or "Timer On” at the bottom of the screen.

Very thorough explaining everything so that I have no questions. After I removed the sensor I tested for clicking and sure enough one of them was not clicking. I examined the part with a flashlight and saw that one of the contacts of the sensor under the one of the flexible stainless strips looked like it had burned out and it looked as if it had disintegrated. I'm about to order the new part and it kept my very old IP (like 2014) from going in the landfill. Thank you so much!

What licenses do you need to fish in NS? Can you do a video about it?
@SharingFuns3 ай бұрын
You don't need a license to fish in tidal or salt water, but you still need to follow federal and provincial rules while fishing. With a Nova Scotia fishing license, you can fish in lakes, rivers, and streams during the open fishing season.
