@@SchusterFishes lol, I get it man! I’ve been looking at similar bay boat / family boats. The tidewaters are nice, and some of the key wests and Robalo caymans as well. Trying to find the sweet spot between family fun and comfort but also being able to fish well.

@@tonybenavidez1884 I’ve kept them before, they’re by far the best tasting freshwater fish. It was like 95 degrees I didn’t feel like dealing with it lol. They’re invasive here but it’s not illegal to release into the same water you caught it, just can’t transport them alive

What size tank you have there. Have my 2 f and 1 m in a 20 long with no luck. Move them there from my community tank 10 days ago. Nothing yet. Been doing 40% water changes daily

@@Yingster25 this is a 10 gallon. Are you’re plecos mature enough? Usually they gotta be at least a year old. If they are make sure they have a few caves to pick from. Fatten them up, especially the females, on green beans, bloodworms, brine shrimp, all that stuff…eventually the females will be nice and fat and full of eggs and it will happen, try doing water changes with a little cooler water too.

Freshwater fishing near me in SWFL means watching for small gators that target any tackle hitting the water, large soft shelled turtles and other hazards depending on the area. Saltwater fishing here gets way more hookups and even the smallest species fight like hell.

If you stlit the gills, then put the fish in a bucket of water it keeps the blood flowing and prevents clotting. The heart can pump out every last drop.
