King & Country did very well👍🏼 with the US Cavalry troops from the JOHN FORD Movies, BUT it NEEDS MORE HISTORICAL Authenticity regarding the APACHE WARRIORS. They should use ideas from the movie which Native American actor WES STUDI starred in, "GERONIMO - An American Legend" [1993].

A suggestion is a series of Cantonese Opera actors, the costumes are colourful and have a strong ethnic characteristics. But it may be a difficult in datasets especially in a western academic world.

Good info on the carbine sling. You could add that on the saddle equipment was a leather “bucket” that would allow the carbine muzzle to fit into. It would avoid the carbine from banging against the riders leg when traveling.

Most forts in the West were open, no stockade; a square with Officers' Row on one side and the enlisted barracks on the other. PS Most troopers wore light colored hats because dark stood out on the arid prairie and they would give the Indians a good target.. Check out Frederic Remington's work. Love the burr.

I love those John Ford movies and the figures look great I just wish they were available unpainted as I love painting miniatures.

Those are very nice representation of the 7th Cavalry soldiers. I love the movie versions of these soldiers. I agree that the yellow scarfs and white suspenders do look pretty good with the Navy blue and light blue pants with the yellow stripes and even the red under shirt I've seen in movies. I've seen also actual black and white pictures of historical Cavalry soldiers and the do look different in those days of the wild west. I like the litt set up very much. I've tried to find the Airfix 7th Cavalry but so far I'm not having much luck here in Australia. I've seen many on eBay all overseas but the prices are to high and once Trump imposes tariffs I can forget those toy soldiers. But those figures I'm seeing are very nice. Thanks for the show.
