Thank you I have his book, one of my favourites that he has written, I have just shared this with our prayer group in Cheddleton. Giving thanks for his inspiring writings, sadly he passed away last year. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed listening to you.

As a child I remember really noticing how everything was green, how much green there was and being a little annoyed by this fact. As I grew up it dawned on me how different all the greens were, how they change throughout the year and how beautiful it all was, draped in basically one colour but with multiple shades. Thank you for reminding me about green!

Love the goldfinches, and the sense that the oak prays for us..... one of the very best things of the last few months for me has been, for the first time, noticing, watching and listening to the joyous goldfinches that have been frequenting our garden.
