I hate playing this chapter on brutal. But there's a strategy that makes this checkpoint easier. Once you respawn on the train car, roll back inside the car and kill all the Lazarevic's people from there and progress.

Damn this part ain't no joke on higher difficulties. I'm struggling to beat the game a 2nd time on Hard just to unlock the infinite ammo/one hit kills cheats. Still my favorite Uncharted game tho. 😅

It's only available on the Nathan Drake Collection, that one includes all three games and is on PS4 and PS5 respectively

Crushing is very doable even for the average player, Brutal is for people who craved being dropped as children. Its too much for no reward.

Replaying this again (nowhere near brutal) and music ignites such rage in me I put my hands up mimicking the pipe like I'm charming the snake 😂😂 in Locomotion nate would just roll off instead of grabbing the ledge and the soldiers mock you with their silly lines can't imagine that on brutal when one strat shot kills you

lmao hahaha feel ya on that part with the rage wasn't any different for me on brutal, I would advise against playing it honestly there's no benefit in doing so, it's not even a requirement for the plat throphy if you're after that

Huh, I must've been incredibly lucky to get this part first try, but I remembe that I died like 50 times or so on the train where you can basically just roll to the side or back through the roof of the train and hope for the best.

I used to get back to my save game just starting from right where the video starts regularly to test out on how quick I get to the tower and yea sometimes I did it first try too, other times I'd die like 30 times or even more often it's rng at this point just like the train scene in U2

@Urlu923 Yeah, it was kinda weird. Overall I found it really satisfying to finally get 100% in the trilogy, but I doubt that I'll ever play it on brutal again as it was also really frustrating overall. It's one thing to die because I mess up or play bad, but just because of that isn't exactly my perception of good entertainment.

Yeah feel you 100%, that's exactly the reason I stopped recording my save games in these loops of deaths, but now that I see people find interest in these and have a good laugh/seek help in getting the games finished I don't know maybe I'll continue

It really isn't, if you wanna do that despite of everything I'd recommend you to play through once at crushing or lower and then unlock the meaningful tweaks like unlimited ammo or one-shot kills

@Urlu923 The Fortress, Jeep Turret and Showdown chapters are very much cases of Brutal being very unfair with the game mechanics.

You forget that Nathan Drake has "Luck" so after the screen goes Grey his luck runs out. The developers and Sully talks about this too. Brutal, Nathan has no luck when it comes to gun fire.😂

I remember skipping most of the museum and that giant sand storm fight to the big doors at the end of the game with a glitch where you launch yourself mach 10 out of cover. It helped a lot

I remember perfecting every checkpoint on brutal and then needing some luck as there is no need for error. Greatest tip i can give you, go into the settings and turn off speech volume

i notice that in uncharted 1 you can take 3 bullets, but in the other games you take like 4 to 5 very wierd

It's very different for me across all games tbh, sometimes you're "lucky" and die by three, sometimes you instantly die in one even if it is from a pistol
