So alfalfa isn’t that high in fat, like 3% on a high scale. So does the alfalfa help with weight because of the fat or the fiber and calories?

Is that the reason why my horse blows so much when I hand graze her? She holds so much tension when we are indoors and doesn’t truly let out a relaxing breath until we are in the back trails away from the barn

My horse would eat the tiniest bit of hay in the arena and wouldn’t mind comping on dirt the sound killed me i finally got my salt block holders off back order to hang in her stall and of course she is chomping away at her salt licks the poor thing 😅

If they eat trees in there paddock what would they be lacking? Please.

Try a mineral balancer pellet and electrolytes if you aren't already. But some of them learn to like the taste and there's nothing you need to do except wrap the tree so they don't eat it.
