It’s an export using Plymouth body w/Dodge grill, I should say the hood, lights and grill are Dodge. Dash, side trim and fins are all ‘56 Plymouth. It looks good! Another version of Plymouth for export was branded DeSoto. Plymouth was used as the other models were too large for most other markets.

In U.S, the Mayfair wasn't sold, we had the Coronet and Royal Lancer, which were bigger than the Mayfair, and more luxurious, that Mayfair Custom, was probably the same as a Plymouth Belvedere.

Por lo que entiendo, lo compraron y posteriormente lo guardaron, no hay otra explicación racional, de hecho hay gente y conozco alguno que coches que compraron en los 90 le hicieron 20000km Iván a currar en autobús empresa y el coche lo gastaban, solo en vacaciones para ir al pueblo o cuenca o Albacete hay muchos se jubilaron con el tiempo y coche grande como que no o murieron y el coche se quedó en el garaje hasta que alguien de la familia lo rescato vaya que si
