The places were named because of the bus stop. You could be able to ask the conductor where to drop you. Where you can see the buses it is kidogo basi, then mwembe kuku then mwembe tayari. People from coast call the task mapepeni.

Weuh. 20 mins in the video and I still could not figure the Tudor I grew up in 😅. The development is massive. I went to school at Mombasa Baptist in the 90s. The only school next to Mombasa Baptist was Ziwani primary. Tudor day. Khamis Boys were our rivals in basketball. Mombasa Baptist basket ball team was the best in the island at that time, always made it to the nationals I did alot of visits to the little sisters of the poor as a girl guide 😂. Tudor mwisho is where the matatu used to end. I could hear the matatus when I was in class. From St Augustine going towards Buxton Basically Tudor Norra, used to be an exclusive area. Thank you guys for taking me down memory lane. It's been over 20yrs since I was there. Tudor was never that busy. I can't remember the last time I ate mkate wa mayai. I used to love it.

17:18 where you turned, there's a whitish apartment (might have been repainted) in the opposite gate. I was born there more than 30 yrs ago😄😄. Seeing that neighborhood again just brings some wonderful memories

Tudor/Kizingo/Tononoka/Ganjoni & Nyali are all construction sites. Competing in changing Mombasa Skyline. Actually to get the best glimpse of the skyline try flying over Changamwe interchange using the topmost deck (the overpass) as you enter Kibarani from airport. The skyline is awesome, and you will appreciate Mombasa has made serious strides. The only thing letting down the roads is no lights, and it becomes very dark at night. Someone needs to be kicked to wake-up and complete his job!

That peace of reggae music at the end!❤...It made me recall a moment back when someone was listening at it from a JBL charge 5 speaker while sitted at the beach in Diani.

Mariakani is an industrial town like thika but i don't know what happened it has really lagged behind but i think now its the best time for it to expand

Mazeras looks buzier than Mariakani I guess coz its much closer to Mombasa.

Why did that dualling not start at Mazeras? Mombasa - Ukunda should also be dualled.

The clickbait looks like entebbe express way .. I'm being polite, it's actually the Uganda express way to entebbe airport. I can tell from the toll and swamp section. 😅

Sawa hapo, very scenic night views. Correction kidogo, construction of Mombasa Gate bridge is scheduled for January 2025 to December 2027. With a 660m main span, 1.4km length it's the longest 'cable-stayed' bridge in Africa to be specific. The Egypt, Cairo 6th October bridge with 22km length with 3 bridges spanning 220m each is the longest overall bridge in Africa. A network of bridges and highways which took 27 years to construct. 1969 - 1996
