They came 24th overall and 4th in GTS class at Daytona 2001. Not 4th overall in 2000. GTS was the highest class, with the Corvette GTS winning. So, hardly an achievement. Cool and mental car, but Cor is basically lying about its success

I worked for Cor in the 2000 season when we won the UK & Spanish championships building the LM600 & also the LM500...different series had different rules...nice to see him still competing.

Cor Euser is probably the most honest and kind racecar driver there is. La Bomba and Marcorelly are both a piece of art. The sound when they race by at full throttle with open exhausts is something one can never forget.

These Oreca beasts had to be one of the most dominant GT cars of all time. Love the looks of them too. So much presence even to this day.

The correct phrase is: "Simplicate and and more lightness" and was uttered, not by Colin Chapman, but by William Bushnell Stout, the US designer of the Ford Trimotor aeroplane. Nerd out.

@@Dave.S.TT600 You mean the typo - 'and for 'add'? Odd that something so trivial - so plain human - could provoke such animosity.

Funny how they showed the Mini pipping the Falcon to the post at Monaco as Bosse Ljungfeldt was quiet a bit quicker. Still it sells cars eh. Plus the French hated the Falcons and did a few dirty tricks to slow them down!!!

The FIA hated the Falcons, and did everything they could to handicap them and give the win to a European make.

However, the Mini never won a single stage and won by the handicap system over the Falcon.
