Best Golf Swing Version of TW and arguably of all time! Tempo, transition and finish just perfect! Adam Scott IMO copied this golf swing!

In my opinion Nelly Korda has a very similar swing to Tiger 2000. Very free arm swing -- the body responding but not controlling the movement.

If Tiger would have swung with this type of rhythm on the course and didn’t get as crazy with trying to play a banana slice and stuck to just a nice little cut he would have won multiple majors in the Foley era and put the Scotty back in the bag

No beef, swing looks like late 99 which I’m assuming this is the Johnny Walker which was in the spring so early 2000 I guess, but also I’m just a dumbass on the internet. Carry on

Amazing conversation as always and lots of incredible knowledge and insight! such a pleasure to learn from you both! How much of this is related to E.A. Tischler's collaborations and tests like anchor points? will you ever have a video addressing the collaboration or is that just water under a bridge?

Analysis of Vijay Singh Golf Swing: Posture: Balanced with spine angle appropriate for shot and club. Arm hang is natural with hands below the shoulders and along the toe line. Takeaway: Club moves on plane with face angle staying square to the path during extension away from the target. Hands are high at the top of the swing, maintaining the triangular space of shoulders/hands. Downswing: Starting with slight hip rotation to the left, club drops inside and shoulders start unwinding with the continued hip rotation. Hands stay along the toe line through impact to on-plane finish position. Weight and balance: Transition of weight into the left side just before impact. Upper body/head stays behind the ball to a balanced finish with hands extended through impact to high finish with upright posture and weight on left side.

Good stuff but there is no way to predict ball speed by measuring limb lengths any more than you can predict jumping ability without measuring their reaction times, ie their fast twitch etc. so no you can’t predict trackman numbers just by limb lengths.

I'm 5'9" with a wingspan of 72". Forearm to upper arm are equal at 14 1/2". I think I'm more center post but due to experimenting with weight shift to try to hit it farther I'm not sure. Testing with my hands together and moving trail arm back my palms stay pretty much the same. I'm right hand dominant but play golf left handed. Also I'm right eye dominant. I believe that dominant side has an influence on movement and swinging patterns. My grip has been pretty much side on for my trail hand and slightly toward strong with lead hand. Any suggestions on what I should be doing to improve my swing?

Tricky. More club head speed yes. But more loft also, so lower smash vs closed face grip. Bryson solved it with very low lofted driver.

@terryrowles , I watch and read everything you and Mike have out. I understand the matchups and everything. I’m an ex bodybuilder with really big shoulders legs and chest. When I use the matchups I have they never seem to work and I know a lot of it has to do with my muscle getting in the way. I’ve read mikes book laws of golf and I know I’m considered a width player but I’m more of and under golfer with center post. The width player Mike used to talk about has an on top grip closed stance and not a lot of rotation. My matchups are just all over the place with my muscle. I have hit a few drives 325 yds I just need to get the right set up to be all gas but I’m always holding back.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 🙏🏻

Mike doesn’t use laws anymore. Big chest and arms restrict degrees of freedom. Turn chest out of the way early in backswing and most likely stand closed at address.

@@terryrowles yeah you guys use matchups and technology such as force plates etc. I’ve watched a lot of your stuff and love it. I just never really heard you guys talk about more muscle bound golfers that’s why I looked at the laws book. Thank you for the information I really appreciate it!

@terryrowles , I have a question about backswing plane. My wingspan and my height are the same length, but 2 years ago I broke one backbone in my back and now I am 4 centimeters shorter in height because of my injury. Does this affect my wingspan and height measurment, so it affects my backswing and downswing plane?
