Nice to have Tyresta close by. It is a really beautiful place but i agree that it can become too crowded. I have only been camping at Långsjön and Årsjön and i'm guessing thats where the majority of visitors are. But i am interested in the other sites as well. Hope you get a good trip!

Hi Jonas. Nacka and Tyresta were great to see. Tack! How do I get to Florarna by public transport from Stockholm?
@ScandinavianWilderness
@ScandinavianWilderness 2 ай бұрын
Hello, happy that you enjoyed Tyresta and Nacka. To get to Florarna without car seems to be a bit tricky. There is a site called Naturkartan.se that you may use for planing. It's a quite good site in general but they usually provide how to get to the sites with public transport. Looked at Florarna at that site but still didn't get any suggestions on how o get there but they do list the closest bus stop. So it may be possible but it doesn't seem easy, unfortunately.

Hej igen!

I love the fishing you do. I want to try this myself as I almost only do ultra-light fishing, which is perfect for trout. I was in Dalarna recently but I have a small kid and I don't want to leave him for long so I didn't make time to explore the streams. Looking forward to it, though. It looks like a great experience, fish or not.

Nice video. That small river is ideal for Tenkarafishing 😜 In general, i think you are not hitting the good spots for trout and grayling. I say that as a Dutchman..... Why not trying the Soralven above Idre. or the Fjatalven, near Sarna? I mostly have good succes there for Grayling. Also where Fjatalven meets Osterdalalven! A little specializing in flyfishing will also help you. All the best! Dolf

I had the Tenkararod with me but i ended up not using it. Could have been a misstake. At the moment i mostly fish in the Orsa fishing permit area. But i starting to have fished all streams there now so then i move on to another area. Thats the plan at least. Fjätälven is interesting, maybe i'll give it a try there next.
