Hi Dr. Barry, I was invited to help build a church in the Nicaragua jungle. Yes, actual jungle, and went and helped. It now serves as a gathering place, a community builder, a clinic when it needs to be. I made the comment one morning, " Shouldn't we be doing this regardless of our belief?". I got stares, frowns and no one wanted to discuss what I said. So I dropped the subject and didn't bring it up again. I'm actually troubled about the reaction I got. I got more out of helping build community. I feel so good. Was that wrong to ask if we should be building regardless of Faith's or beliefs?

im actually the only one in my family who actually knows and speaks the sign language fluently [my oldest sister knows it a little but not as fluently as i do]
@pouringmypraize12 жыл бұрын
its so inspirational to see that people really want to learn sign language... i myself learned sign language when a deaf person came up to me in the store to ask me something and i barely knew any sign language than. now i am an interpreter and im fixing to expand my ministry by going to college and taking classes for to become a better interpreter for the deaf people. I have many deaf friends, and God has blessed me with the knowledge of knowing sign language.

Mother Burks is absolutely right it is all about the WORD, that word that became flesh and dwelt among us and is on his way back! I wish folk would stop with all this contemporary/traditional comparison nonsence. what we call traditional was contemporary at the time it was composed. The word GOSPEL simply means good news. It was good news yesterday, it is good news today and it will be good news forever. Hebrews 13:8

I still get chills and tear up everytime I watch this and hear this song. God is sooooo good that he forgives us from our sins and fights for us even when we break his heart and commit them. He still reaches his hand out to save us in our darkest moments. To God be the Glory! Way to go Greenforest Drama Ministry! ;-)
