I think Tinkers was looking for her favorite (besides food 🤭)…catnip! 😻😹 I bought a cat placemat on Amazon for my Nala. I have her water fountain and her bowl on it, and if she gets a little messy, it all stays on the mat! 😽😻🥰

😂 Don't feel bad, Tink, my kitty is a messy eater too. 😋 Tell your mum a placemat is an excellent idea - I have a flexible silicone mat under my kitty's bowls, and it catches most of the crumbs, is easy to pick it up and wash it under the tap. You should be able to buy them cheap somewhere. I got mine at Kmart (Australia). 💜

For a little context - When Tink eats, especially wet food, she can be .. a little messy with her food. I have to sweep up her food several times a week, she can't seem to keep it in her bowl, lol. Also (no, the 'tin foil will not be staying and I just put it down tonight, this is the first time putting it down), because I just swept and mopped the area and she's about to eat and I didn't want to have to reclean it. I want to get her a little placemat, or maybe a little rug of her own, or something to put underneath her food bowl so that maybe the mess will be a little less and more manageable! 😊 I'm also open to any suggestions for placemats/rugs, if any other cat owners have a messy little kitty! 🤭

My cat does the same when im mopping the floor, but he keeps cartoonishly missing it and sliding across the floor, and running in place. Sometimes all you hear is the sound of cartoon sneakers.
