How do these compare against the Meze Alba? I’m looking for something around this budget and I prefer a wide soundstage with good imaging and clear instruments and vocals. Also, since these will be my first IEMs, how do they compare against the Bose QC 2 earbuds?

Let me suggest you the best you can get under $100. Kiwi Ears Melody. You don't need to consider anything else. And get the Fiio KA11 to drive the Melody properly. I had heard a bose around 12 years ago. It sounded okay back then, a bit muffled and lacking resolution. No comparison to be precise.

You don't need a cable for it, thoda eq karo, cables around 1k won't make much difference and I don't advise buying a cable at 2k for this IEM.

You need cables because these Fiio IEMs are V shaped, Cadmus II will change that, try and write back, don't just post inexperienced comments.

OK so i have every equipment now like dac, iem,etc . but i dont know how to play those files hi res quality files in my laptop or mobile i actually use downloaded hi res files but when i play them directly from any music player i am not getting that of a good quality<<< so how can i listen to true hi res audio in mobile(android 14) and laptop (windows 11).......Hope u reply soon i m really excited to play hi res//////// 😀😀

Hello. Does it support a possible selected playback speed? Supports custom sections for re-reading and can also be used between 1.0X, 1.25X, 1.5X, 2.0X etc. playback speeds.

I ordered it from conceptkart for 3986 and in the box there was a audiocular carrying pouch, foam eartip with the iem and another foam eartip in the box with a separate package, and 3 size silicon eartip. I got the tuning switches version and first three switches increase bass and 4th one reduces a bit of treble. I use with all the switches turned on and i tuned it a bit on squig 20hz-6khz similar to truthear x crinacle zero red +10ohm.. because of it i got a bit more mids and i love it

660s2 is hard to drive.. it's not like H2 will fail miserably but it's not very powerful. If you aren't expecting H2 to extract the best out of HD660s2 , it's fine, or else look into stuff like XD05bal and Fiio Q15. I have my Q15 up for sale too, if you are interested..

I didn't understand all of the hype also with ER2XR and ER2SE. I've had many Ety's over the past decade. HF, MC, ER4P/s. And until recently, the ER4XR and ER2XR/SE. I can attest, none can rival the latest ER4XR for audiophiles (not audio engineers). When I pitted the ER4XR against the ER2XR, there's clear distinction that the 4XR's has better depth, clarity, and neutrality across the audible range. Also, the liveliness is not duplicated on the ER2XR's -- it actually sound sterile and artificial compared to the 4XR. It's sort of like made from scratch food versus processed food or a TV dinner.

Klean is a bit more smoother and slightly soft sounding, if you want smoothness and warm, lush notes, opt for Klean. Else, the new 7hz G1 is another very good option.

880 is slightly dry and more clinical but it's main down side is it's fixed cable, FT1 pro has a taller stage and slightly better bass body. Both have very good treble extension while FT1 pro has slightly taller notes. You won't go wrong with either when it comes to SQ but FT1 pro is a lot more comfortable and has better pads and material used. Dt 880 pads and headband material will fall off within a year.

@ thank you for the recommendation, but I‘m looking for a closed back headphones. The only downside of Fiio is the build quality as far as I read. On the other hand 770s are exceptionally well made and could last a lifetime. That‘s the only reason I’m hesitant to pick the FT1d over 770s.

I cannot find the Tripowin Altea cable on any trusted platform. It is on Amazon but the INR to $ conversion for the price of the cable is way off ($34 on platforms outside India vs. INR 8000 on Amazon India). I have been thinking of getting Tripowin Zonie instead. Is Zonie comparable to Altea? Also, will it upgrade the sound of CCA Trio to a similar level?

It's hard to expect a lot from these IEMs, one IEM I will suggest you to look into will be 7hz Elua. It's not thin or sharp and has very good bass body and staging too.
