My first date was VERY FLIRTY. He matched with me and I matched back and he then sent a message on hinge saying, “hey, I am going to be very forward, I am going abroad for a year, in two weeks and I really like you and want to take you on a date and don’t have much time left”, I was really surprised on how confident he sounded and was willing to go on this date with him, eventhough atp, we haven’t spoken at all and don’t know anything about each other the date he set was like 4days after that chat of him sliding into my dm with a date request, I accepted to go on the date and we started talking on the app, the conversation was very FLIRTY and sexual but I thought I will still want to get to meet him due to his confidence and like him wanting to go on a date even before we started a conversation. I was also a bit uneasy with the sexual talks, so ask him if he wanted to have sex on the first date, cause that sounded like what he was implying. He reassured me that, that was not the case at all, that he just really liked me and he was trying to impress me because he is living the country for a year Tell me why this guy texted me the night before our date that he had Covid so needs to reschedule the date (for context this happened last month). At this point there was only 10days before he was moving countries for a year. So I said that’s fine if he has Covid and asked to pick another date, he picked a day which was 3days before his departure. So we continued talking on the app, and the flirt and sexual conversation continued, the night before the date, we were taking so much on WhatsApp and he was saying how he can’t wait to see me and that. We said goodnight to each other, and I said I was looking forward to seeing him the next day evening. The next day he has blocked my number everywhere, I was so shocked and disappointed. That was very weird cause we ended the conversation the night before really well and I was so shocked how he blocked me everywhere with no explanation and didn’t even get a first date with him I am still shocked and I deleted hinge since then, cause that was a pretty weird and confidence knocking experience
