Hello, long time subscriber here. I've just come home from a long hike in Sarek where one night (many, many miles from civilization) was super stormy with rain and fierce winds. All I had with me was my old trusty Hilleberg Akto (at the time I wish I had brought my Nammatj). It held up, but I was seriously worried all night. I've started looking into Hilleberg Unna, which seems sturdier. (At least I thought so until I saw this video 😄 Brutal!) I'd like to know your opinion on the tent? Do you like it, despite the accident? If I buy it I might get the 10mm poles with it, just in case. But I'd like to hear your opinion on the tent before I make up my mind. At first I was disappointed when I saw how tiny the vestibule is, but then I saw people unclipping a couple of the inner tent attachments and voila - a big vestibule for cooking when it's raining. And it seems super roomy inside for one person + it's free standing. Looks like a really nice tent overall. Anyway, I hope you're doing well. Really miss these hiking/camping/cooking videos of yours. Hello Axel😀Both towns are nice, Bergen is much bigger (4-5 times larger) Ålesund is more compact and much nicer in my opinion, I will put out my latest video from July this summer 2024 so You can see more from my town aalesund, In Aalesund you can also visit fjellstua( spectacular cafe and view point looking over Aalesund, Tueneset Atlantic Sea Park( seal fish and ocean creatures) Aalesund Town with its Jugend buildings, brosundet( canal running thorough city center, Borgund Museum(old boats and buildings from 1800) You can also visit Geiranger fjord, The Princess of Norway even getting married there this weekend, very beautiful place, so all in all if I should visit either towns I would pic Aalesund 10/10 times, Aalesund is also rated the most beautiful city in Norway but Bergen is pretty to 😀 As I said I will put up my latest video for you later today so you can have some more info to make the best choise for you and your family, hope this was helpful and I will see You in the video later this upcoming evening, ATB from 🇳🇴

Hei :) Jeg har klart meg med 9mm stengene til havpadling 1/3-del av norge på langs. Teltet beveger seg en del når det blåser mye. Blir teltet mye roligere med 10mm stenger, eller bråker og rister det okke som? :) Vil du si at teltet ikke tåler vindkast på 20-25m/s med 9mm stenger? Det er jo sjeldent man opplever mer uvær enn det, egentlig.

Thank you for this video. I am looking at solo Moto camping and this tent seems perfect. The setup with the inner tent not exposed to rain, and the vestibule allowing me to change into my heavy riding gear while dry seems to be a huge plus too. Not a lot of ventilation when the temps go up, but when it is cool or wet this seems like a comfortable choice. Do you worry about cooking in the vestibule and trapping some scents that might attract wildlife?

Looks familiar. I have a Belgian Shepherd (Tervuren), and my brother has a French Bulldog. When they meet, they play without stopping, so we have to separate them after a while so they can take a break, and the Frenchie won't have a breathing problem. The only problem is that my brother doesn't like taking home a Frenchie covered in dog slobber. 😅

Ha! 😂 I've heard some people express doubts about whether the Unna can be trusted to stand up in a storm. I think this video answers that question. Was the tent double poled? And were you using 9 or 10 mm poles please? I noticed you didn't have any additional guy lines fitted. I'm still in the early days of using mine and haven't had it in a storm yet. I've upgraded to 10 mm poles and I'm carrying a couple of extra guys. Do you think that's overkill? How do you think this tent compares strengthwise to the Soulo? Like what I've seen if your channel so far and hence I've subscribed.

hi👍I used my poles from the Hilleberg Staika tent, they are stronger, If you tie down your Unna and double pole it and find the best area to tackle bad weather I ´d say they are equally good. You can do some testing step by step to see how you feel In strong winds aswell, build up some good experience 👍You upgrading your poles and guy lines is just great and a smart move👍have fun and thanks for you sub mate

Hi, just want to say how much I enjoyed this video. I've recently acquired the Unna tent and I absolutely love it. Hilleberg don't do themselves any favours by saying it's got no vestibule. That puts people off. Me included initially. The truth is you can have a large vestibusle if you so desire. I've upgraded mine with 10 mm poles and also carry a couple of extra guys if I'm camping in exposed terrain. No complaints or issues so far. Compared to the "coffin" tents I've used in the past this thing seems like a palace. Thanks again. Best wishes and take care.

Hi, nice video and music! How do you like the 200-600? I have that lens and find it great for birding. Did you switch from Olympus to Sony? Or do you use both systems? So many questions 😂
