I hated Lampeter university in regards to the course, the lecturers and most of all the backstabbing student vermin who bullied me. I was not allowed to have friends nor a girlfriend due to fear of being slagged off as a stalker and a rapist who climbed into people's beds.

The Lampeter experience will be as boring as the student chooses to make it. For the vast majority it is a hugely friendly place where people can learn in a beautiful environment.

American U's are the best, But you probably can't get into a decent one.

Queens looks a lot like the University of Sydney.

This campus is one of the top universities in the world. This year 2012, it reached 6th rank all over the world.

@PausePressPlay - well making noise in the library is stupid I agree, I was talking about outside school activities. I don't use the library, never really liked libraries and the LSE's is badly designed and has no space etc. Good luck with the studies :)

@bluevozhak Observation and experience - I don't 'imagine' things. And I still don't agree with the changing boisterous social environment - in a library!?-, which is ultimately a distraction. This is also a familiar trend in public libraries. Observe. You can party all you like, it seems the LSE is catering to suit. Just be mindful of other folk trying to study just as hard.

@PausePressPlay You could not be more wrong and don't be surprised when the partying people do extremely well at graduation, it is not wise to judge a book by its cover especially at the LSE. My MSc. is dominated by hard partying students but some of the most brilliant I have even met and I know they will do amazing- "Work hard and Play hard" is our motto. And by the way all empirical evidence points to the LSE trending upwards so I have no idea where you got your ideas.

The place is going downhill, more focus on 'social areas' rather than studying. It's a bit of a playground, demonstrating the growing culture of easy distraction, the students just want to look good and party. There are people studying but it seems more people are less driven, easily led by other things and the school is to blame.

I am thinking to get admission in BPP because it's cheap ... Can somebody tell me about the quality of the university ? Is it okay if I do LLB from BPP ?? please help ..

Why do people assume that highly ranked universities are the best place for undergraduate study? The rankings are based on research. First and second year students need the guidance and attention of a good full time instructor, it makes no difference to them how good their teacher is at part time research. The best advice is to earn your bachelor's degree at a small school that's excellent at teaching, THEN continue to a highly ranked university (like UCL) that's excellent at research.

.......and now you have to get A*'s with increased fees. Just wonderful, it's like they don't want Britain's children to have a good future

rubbish talk about A levels, I enetered a s a mature student (25 years) to study Medical Imaging. My first year in Northerhay House (Ithought i'd rock and roll and live in the halls) I lived with a chinese guy weho spoke no english and an agrophobic italian girl who i must have seen twice the whole year and left her cutlery in her room. Needless to dsay I am now a qualified Radiographer but it wa s a fucking lonely experience
