Thanks for sharing, nice to see the DR out on trails. Horseflies - we've had so much rain, perfect conditions for them, but irritating nonetheless. I love my titanium Firebox stove, particularly with the gas burner option, as the Firebox acts as the screen to block the wind. Nice having a wood fire at night too, as you did. Ride safe mate, happy camping.

@@roam5984 I try and spread my love for the scrambler and the DR in equal measures 😁 Yeah them horse flies left an itchy welt for my enjoyment the next day lol. @roam598422 күн бұрын
@@TwoTubesADV With two bikes in the garage, that's understandable. The titanium FB is much lighter than the stainless steel version, which is great on the bike. Downside is the titanium is very thin metal and if the fire is too hot, the FB will warp. Careful attention, no overloading of wood, all is well.
@TwoTubesADV22 күн бұрын
@@roam5984 Ah ok. I've found the stainless steel one is already fiddly fitting the grill plate using the notches after first use. Controlling the heat is the tricky part.
@roam598422 күн бұрын
@ Correct. Titanium grill plate also difficult to fit/ manipulate with the fire sticks when it’s hot because of warping. Wearing gloves can help with the heat but not with tactile, easy fitting.
