@@rq3980 sometimes I do. Normally I do not. I use a straight stitches plate with half-square triangles and lots of heavy seams. But good practice is to always use it.

I know she wants to tell the world how good she has it, and she’s doing that, but there are loads of people that struggle from day to day to make ends meet or put food on the table and don’t want to hear how”good” someone has it. @@musicmom614 Yes. And the updates are already going out. Make sure that you have your computer connected to the internet, then log on to your software and follow the prompts. This goes for v9 Creator and Designer Plus owners.

@@CathConvertKris we don’t do videos on the 780. It’s an older machine and we simply do not even have one in stock. Also, this firmware will not work on the B 780 nor will these hoops.

@@BERNINAofNaperville okay thank you. I was just looking for it since the video at 42 seconds said there would be a video in the fall that shows how update the 750, 780 and 830. On the Bernina website there is a final firmware update 8/22/23- I’m sure it’s the last one but I wanted to make sure I install it correctly. I’ll follow along this video since it’s so recent I’m hoping it will be similar. Thank you!

@@jebeljewel1210 this feature. Is independent of needle size and tension so adjust after you do a test if necessary.

@@gaitedgirl85 you can use the 50wt aurifil. It’s fuzzy due to the fact that it’s cotton. Recommended thread is a 40wt poly. But as long as you like the end result that is all that matters.

@@isaacssproutedsourdough1613 my 990 has been put through the paces and yes. But my 590 is also a workhorse so if it’s not performing well perhaps some lessons from your local dealer or a spa treatment.

@@tuustotus9635 no, all bernette sergers have ac motor. The only DC motors are the BERNINA L 460, L 850, L 860 and L 890.
