Jewellery lessons teach that the saw blade should have at least three tips touching the work. Just one tip will snag and not pull down. 1 mm plate needs therefore 3 teeth per mm. They are tables, as shown, on the number of the blade and how many teeth they have. Vallorbe in Switzerland is famous for it’s files and saw blades. Thanks for the work.

how do you keep the brass from tarnishing? great video thank you
@jagabandhumukhopadhyay1825 Жыл бұрын
Hi Brian thanks for watching the video. I apply a layer of varnish covering both the wood and the brass. This provides the gloss to the wood and protects the brass as well. I use clear polyurethane wood finish as the varnish.

sir how to do brass inlay in mappa ply for chair?
@jagabandhumukhopadhyay18252 жыл бұрын
Hi Zubayer I am not aware what is mappa ply. However in general plywood is not suitable for inlay as the ply is made with thin layers and on sanding the layer may come off . My suggestion please try with a small scrap piece of ply wood before doing it for your project.

Can you cut with scissors instead ?
@jagabandhumukhopadhyay18253 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex Thanks for watching the video. I think you can cut with scissors if the plate is thin or the cuts are less complicated. But if you have an intricate design which has lots of sharp curves scissors may not be helpful.
