Hi Elijah, nice breakdown on the comparison between grab and car ownership. Seems like it basically boils down to a fixed cost vs variable cost comparison. By the way, it sounds like your audio is randomly clipping in a bad way. A rode mic should be able to record way better sound. Just a wild guess, perhaps you might want to try reducing your mic recording volume, maybe set a pass filter and normalize the audio levels in post processing.
