Hello, If i understand correctly this pump should alternate between aspirating and exhausting. So can I use it to prime a loop that is attached to one single output of a tank ? And then once it's primed have a three way valve to redirect the flow to the actual application ?
@kitronik19 күн бұрын
Hi, I'm not sure I completely understand what you are asking. The pump only works in one direction and uses a self-priming function to create a pressure differential in the diaphragm chamber. If you require the pump's output to go to different places, depending on criteria, then you would need control valves to facilitate this. I hope this helps, let us know if this doesn't fully answer your question.

Forward and Reverse... what about turning?
@kitronikАй бұрын
Hi Lindsay, thanks for the question. Turning is done with code. Have one wheel spin faster than the other, and turning will happen. On a controller keypad, forward delivers the same instruction to the left and right motors; using the left and right controls will deliver the forward instruction to only one of the motors, respectively. The motor driver boards utilise H-bridges. When given the correct instructions via code, they reverse the polarity of the voltage to the motors, which results in reverse. I hope this helps.

I would really appreciate some help here, I have 2 microbits, one kitronik Move, one Kitronik Game Controller. I have been able to get the microbits via radio to connect to each other and code them to move the Move Motor, just using the microbits. BUT how do I get the Game Controller to do the same thing, i.e make the Move Motor move using the Game Controller?
@kitronik2 ай бұрын
Hi, and thanks for the question. We created some custom MakeCode blocks for the Kitronik :GAME Controller for micro:bit that can be added to the editor as an extension. Once added, this gives you access to blocks that are designed to help you use all of the onboard buttons and functions of the :GAME controller. The on button pressed :GAME controller block can be used in conjunction with radio send blocks to log controller events and send them out over radio. The micro:bit connected to the buggy can then perform actions based on the radio instructions it receives. Details about how to add the :GAME controller blocks to the editor can be found in the Datasheet PDF here: resources.kitronik.co.uk/pdf/5644-game-controller-microbit-datasheet.pdf I hope this helps.

@carlteacherman194Ай бұрын
I received my controllers today. It's a shame I can't order direct to France where I live, but I found a good european supplier in Poland called Botland. This little unit is excellent for my needs controlling G scale railway points/turnouts with a long heavy throw. I tried using 3.7 volts from a Lipo battery, and this works for me. The throw control is very accurate. I will need to source some real passing contact switches for remote operation. Simple push-on button switches are not ideal, nor standard reed switches that tend to cause a bounce effect.

Can it be used with a brushless esc?
@kitronik4 ай бұрын
Hi Damian, the controller was designed to be used with standard 180 degree SG90 style servos. The board supplies power to the servo and a signal to control movement. If you have servos that function in the same way as a SG90 and has the same power requirements then you may have positive results. There is also a trim pot on the board to help you dial it in for each servo, which can further help. We would advise to stick with the SG90 type servos as they are the only servos we included in development and testing. I hope this helps.

Hi Steve, thanks for the question. These Bamboo side pressed sheets are largely used as a replacement for hardwoods, plywoods and MDF sheets. Although they can be safely cut on the laser, they are not classified as food safe. Because of the nature of side pressing, these sheets are best suited to uses such as wall/floor tiles and decking, attemting to form them into curved shapes would result in instability at best. Please see the product page for more information, there is also some useful documentation at the foot of the product page: kitronik.co.uk/products/3294-5mm-bamboo-side-pressed-natural-600-x-400mm-sheet
