@@ccubearch, it's a cool idea. I liked the change in elevation between the two containers. That added some great dimension to the structure and being on the shore it is a good idea to have at least some portion of the structure elevated for bad weather. I have seen plans drawn by architecture school graduates where the stairs ran into the ceiling. I started working construction so I had actually built and had an idea of how things went together. Today 3d modeling like Sketchup can help with that somewhat. Best of luck to you, and keep trying new ideas. Often they won't work completely, but you will have learned some new things that work very well. Take care.
