Hey thanks for watching! Ah yes that was another great Facebook pickup with £100's profit 😀 It was a bit of a packaging challenge though as it weighed 30kg. I think I ended up splitting it into 2 parcels due to the weight. Luckily most of it was already boxed or in a case so was protected already. I wrapped everything in bubble wrap, then some cardboard and then black shrink wrap to hold it altogether. Can't remember what courier I used but I made sure it was covered with compensation. It got there safely and got positive feedback 🙂

Hey thanks for watching! Whether you're picking items up at car boots, Facebook etc and paying cash or bank transfer I just make a note of what it is I've bought and for how much. Can't have a receipt as such but just keep as much info as possible. It then goes down as an expense for stock 🙂 Hope this helps

Tbh unless your self employed yet constantly “working at a loss” so as to never pay anything in tax they don’t tend to question much imo just keep regular books of what you’ve roughly spent and all fuel costs receipts are easy with that and you have covered your back just in case but unless as I say you are avoiding tax majorly or earning 100k and spending 60k expenses it shouldn’t keep you up at night🎉 the best deals are always cash deals (in the past anyway)

I'm employed full time by a company whilst also self employed/sole trader. Still very simple to do the self assessment every year 😀

Hi Ian thanks for watching, you are more than likely correct with the ownership side of it. The general waste will go to a sorting facility where metals, recyclables and everything else for landfill will get split up. Just depends if they're really bothered, I doubt the bin men themselves will stop anyone. They most probably keep items they find for themselves too. 😁

When am item goes in a certain place whether its on my racking or storage boxes I add the location on my 'custom label' section on my listings. You can add any info in here including bought price, dates etc. Will aim to do a short video all about the SKU system 😁

Basically what you’ve covered their yes, so when a item sells you seem just go straight to the item almost like you know where exactly that is, I look forward to the SKU System video sounds good!

Hi Dan thanks for watching, no plans to go full time as I have a very comfortable full time job that I'm happy in. So that'll always take priority as it pays our bills etc. The reselling business is something we can do as a family, get out and about etc. I always want to go bigger and better with it though 😁

Hi Neil thanks for the comment, maybe I should've explained better. They did message saying they wanted to return and I said that's absolutely fine open a return case and will follow the correct procedure. So far nothing out of the ordinary but then they claimed they accidently closed the case but still wanted to return it 🙈

I buy a lot on vinted to resell on ebay (see my videos) and it seems like half of vinted listings are exactly this scam, no reviews, fake profile and photos copied from other listings etc

Thanks for watching Dave, I tried to help them out but when a case it closed they cannot open another return case on the same item. I'm also not going down the route of refunds and returns outside of ebays system. They have a couple of neutral feedbacks but nothing to suggest they do this all the time. There's nothing else I could do to help and I've not heard from them since or had any feedback left. Thanks again 🙂

@@georgestreasureshed For fatigue prevention have you considered a tall stool so you can sit down a little while but still handle your stock? I have one, easy to move it about and nicely takes the weight of your feet. :)
