I am watching this in January 4, 2025 at home with my family. This message is a powerful one. God's presence truly overcomes any and all challenges that can possibly come our way! Go's can bring supernatural joy and worship even in the midst of the absolute darkest and most confusing pain! We must embrace suffering for Christ as a necessary step in following Christ. Especially the contrast between Sir Norman Anderson and the "other" Englishman who ended up a bitter apostate despite his many talents and gifts and opportunities. I wish Sir Norman Anderson's books were still in print. I'd love to read his autobiography An Adopted Son: The Story of My Life. Hopefully a Christian publisher will consider reprinting it someday!

Just before he died, we were walking in the University precincts chatting of spiritual things. "Professor Caroll, when you meet God you'll know he is God." Soon afterward I learned of his early, unexpected death. Now he knows.
