Just a thought: if you're trying to do a clearance check on a gun while wearing a cowboy hat, hold the gun away from your face, so the light can shine in. Also, if you accidentally released the slide (not likely, but possible) you could possibly clamp your nose.

Bul makes terrific 1911s Bul has a new model the EDC that has the same features as the DaN Wesson with the flared magwell and MSRP is 1350 the Specialist is 1975 + and I think the Bul is better in almost every way IMO
