My canister gets all wet every time if rains and the check engine light comes on. Once it dries out (usually about 200 miles with no rain) the light goes off. Its pretty annoying though. Any one else have this problem? 2017 Frontier.

That was the ABLS engaging that is a brake assisted limited slip, works while in 4 low with VDC off. When tires are spinning while you have a constant light throttle, the brakes will modulate on and off on the slipping wheel stopping it from spinning and transferring power to the wheel that's not spinning pulling you forward. Actually works really good when people know how to use it, every bit as good as my TRDs A-trac.

you supposed to run a separate valve for each side or else the air will move from side to side and can damage the airbag when on uneven ground or cornering

I’m a frontier guy and we get coil bucket contact from the upper control arms when using spacers. Do R51s have the same problem? I had to run aftermarket upper control arms.

Sow let me get this right! You lift the subframe by 2 inches or 50mm in the back where this lift does nothing to raise the diff or the suspension arms basically just a body lift and in the front you add a spacer that modified the suspension geometry basically lifting the suspension. Sow back is a body lift with no added ground clearance and front is a semi proper suspension lift? I hope people don't do this mod as it's stupid. Folks just buy the kit with the poliuretan flanse for the back coils and then you will have a raised back diff also.

Do you need to change your front upper control arm? I saw that a lift spacer would not work because of the control arm hitting the base of the spring

Definitely not underrated… Bought an 11’ with 184k miles just recently. Tons and tons of rust, typical Nissan rust proofing (or lack of). Plenty of electrical issues, clunks and rattles. Compared to a 4Runner it’s an absolute pile in every aspect.

This vehicle is seriously very underrated. I live in freezing temperatures here in Canada and once in 4WD auto it just sticks to the ground in heavy snow and icy conditions - even at temps as low as -30C. The next thing is ABLS, which I see you have mastered well in your other videos. 4WD high and 4WD low split the power 50-50 front/rear. 4WD low gets the ABLS into play (not sure if 4WD high does it), which acts left-right on an axle, by stopping the spinning wheel using brakes. So you are right, it kind of acts like a DIFF lock - needs a little practice and commitment to learn it though - but once you learn it, the vehicle devours most terrain. You can actually see some rock crawling videos on KZbin of Pathfinders. The absence of solid axles can be felt if you get too serious, but the comfort of the IFS/IRS can be felt when you take the family for regular business on tarmac.
