I agree with the comment above mentioning how 2017 being 7 years ago makes me feel old lol. It really does seem like it was yesterday. And it’s really going way too fast. Forgive me if this comment turns a little bit lengthy, but so many people say high school love doesn’t last or teenagers don’t understand love, but I can tell you that’s not true. Aside from this couple, I am living proof. I met my husband a week before I turned 16 and he was 20. Yes I know a few years older at the time might sound a lot worse than it really was . But that’s neither here nor there lol. So we started dating the week after I turned 16 and our First Born just turned 30, two weeks ago. This upcoming May will be 33 years that we have been together. Has it been easy? Heck no . Has it been worth it? A million times yes. It has been one big, emotional roller coaster, but he’s the only one I’d ever take the ride with. We have 2 amazing kids, a 30 yr old daughter and a 16 yr old son. There were a few times where I thought things might be over, as our marriage was tested in ways I never wish to think of ever again (though deep in my heart I knew it would never be “over” ), but we worked so hard to get to a better and it payed off. Anyway sorry to ramble, but when I see young love, I smile and it takes me back.
