1. Nc3? That is a terrible opening move. Black can take control of the center with 1... d5. White can't stop it because the black queen defends the pawn. Much better is 1. Nf3, the reti opening, which similarly supports the center without allowing black to attack with 1... e5. But the guy in this video just does stupid stuff, so maybe his wife/girlfriend/fiancee/mistress/prostitute knows this about him and is responding accordingly.

You can? Wait wow you’re right!! Clearly this negates all possible utility and artistic feature of this product! Obviously I’m being rhetorical. I think you are failing to see some possibilities of this piece. Not only does it not take up often valuable table space, but people (like myself) who have young children or pets might find it too problematic to leave out without being disturbed. 2 more points. Obviously it’s also a cool piece of art. Finally in regard to its looks, I’m sure grandmasters might like to use this to set up a winning board from past victories. Or maybe they want to pay tribute to some of the great moves of chess predecessors.

Give me a brake. Every ad for anything today has to have the gal beating the guy but I do like the idea of the board on the wall even if just for decoration.
