Guardians are definitely my favorite Cylon warship. They're sleek, fast enough to fire off most of their munitions before a Battlestar can catch up, and Predictive Augury means you don't have to risk squadrons to get that missile lock!

So...why is the station in a fight? It's only needed for a few missions...the rest of It's life should be in orbit of a planet making ships cheaper or more money or cheaper promotions..

This looks like a fleet I would use, especially early on. If a settings has Frigates its almost certain my favorite ship class will be one of the Frigate types so if I'm building a fleet in a strategy game and have access to a Frigate any fleets I build will have several and the Adamants are my favorite ships in the game. The Talons are my favorite Cylon ship though I prefer the Adamants

Some tactical blunders. Id recommend bringing along an Atlas and a manticore for support, manticore would just be there to scout. Maybe putting them in pairs would work? No flak, using the PD offensively and having Sweepers put down chaff could keep them alive from missiles, just a few thoughts

I’m rewatching you playing this game.

Got a couple games for you I guess. Brigador and BattleTech. Although with BattleTech there’s no linear story. Neither does Brigador, only hints of a storyline in that game are the mission briefings and the lore you have to purchase. Pilot backgrounds can be funny too.

Again you mess the point of the gunship classes. These ships are meant to work with other ships...and again yes you can build a wall of artillery with them, but I prefer pairing these ships up with missile armed ships....build a group with them.....the usual task group I like is to put one of these Minotar class gunships with two Janus class missile cruisers. As you said no flack, so the need bo be under the flack over of a battlestar or a flak capable Heracles gunship....just some thoughts from my experience in the game....

The Ranger class are meant to be a good escort vessel. They work best in groups of three if you aren't going to use them as escorts. I tend to pair these ships up with an Atlas carrier and a Heracles class gunship. You have to remember these things predate the Artemis class battlestar. This grouping gives you a very powerful little task force. I have had great success with these ships. I prefer these ships over some of the newer ships in the fleet. The Ranger is a good platform, but you have to manage it the right way...good missile platform, but you need to keep it under the flak cover of other ships....that is why I have them work with a Heracles class gunship.....just some thoughts

I always just shift+click all my carriers, and the base, press shift, and launch all fighters. Saves me from having to realize that I somehow missed launching them when the action gets hot.

The thing that disturbs me a lot about the Defender-class, is that the inner middle of the ship is only being held together by the support braces of the flightpod, and the front middle.

The ceretas things are op! They can stay more or less out of range of your guns whilst shooting you and they wreck fighters.
