Wirlitzer shipped one organ every day in 1926, and they were not little "plug-in" organs. They were BIG pipe organs with thousands of parts in each instrument . Most movie theatres, small and large, had pipe organs to provide music for silent films. Of the over 10,000 built by different builders, most have been destroyed.

What were the interview questions?
@jemzdaily346529 күн бұрын
For me they didn’t ask anything questions. They just spoke about their rules and the baker role. They also spoke about your availability schedule

Hey, the Terminal building has silent alarms in it and on the outside so sneaking in there wouldn't worked. The first ramp you went up led you to the concours that connected the station to the passenger tracks. It used to be a bridge that went between the platforms and the station, but Contrail blew it up long ago so higher freight cars could pass by. Nice job though, great camera work.

The "houses" you visited were actually the parking lots for the Griffon Manor housing development. The first one you visited off of Frontier Avenue at around the 3 min point is where I grew up as a kid. The history you shared is mostly incorrect but was cool to see the street I grew up on, I actually broke my shoulder on that street racing down it back in the spring of 1980. We moved out after the end of the school year which was 8th grade for me. The area was not as overgrown as it is right now, we use to play all sports in that field and in the winter built our own ice skating rinks and played hockey until spring when the ice would begin to melt. I'd be careful, those mattresses and such that you found are likely belonging to homeless people squatting in the area.
