The 520 is one of the nicest can and chassis for an automated side load garbage truck with right hand drive only. Very nice rig, we have 7 of them and going with more

No vibration from a diesel engine to loosen up fasteners to cause the rattling in the first place.

@@PaulGienau It’s not the vibrations from the engine that makes the truck rattle. It’s sloppy assembly, lack of insulation etc. ALL American big rigs are rattle boxes.

Farewell legend! The 389 was the best truck Pete ever made it was the heavy hauler of an industry. We will miss them but something better is coming.

@@jbryanlegarcon31 oh... Well There are newer Peterbilts with the classic design still out here so these aero trucks are mostly for eco fleets. They're good on diesel. The classic designs are usually for aesthetics, ease of self repair, and bragging rights 😎

These need to be banned in semi trucks. I have a 2019 579 with the Bendix system. It brakes without warning with nothing in front of me. Absolute death trap. Peterbilt and Bendix refuse to delete system. Next step is to contact the NTSB.

After a few years these dashes will be lit up like a Christmas tree with faults and other issues. Dead batterys for pressure sensors, abs issues, differential temp issues ,just a big expensive, complicated, mess!!!!

Bring back the cabover and designate it the 382 and when the time comes for another upcoming and improved version call it the 392. Just don't give us one that looked like the the 372 or a setback front axle. Keep it classy and classic.

I'm honestly curious how many EV models they're selling.... I bet they sold way more 389s than the total EV models combined. It cannot be a profitable venture. Only the few mega-fleets out there bother to have some to look like they are "looking to the future" .... the real world mid and small size companies cannot afford those, nor does it make financial sense to own one. St least the 589 has a hood, it could've been worse.

Bought new peterbilt have transmission problem, been in a shop for over 2 month, 4 different shops open case with paccar and all what they authorized its wheels check and angles, over and over...ridiculous! always taught peterbilt takes pride of the product.
