What about a per project lease of the printer. Other companies are doing that
@mudbotsАй бұрын
other companies are desperate and running out of money. Once you get through the 18 video series I think you iwll realize that this isnt like renting a table saw at home depot. more like learning how to fly a 747 airplane. without the training it will turn in to a shit show.

I'm in an area in Texas where I grew up and moved back to for the purpose of cleaning up the community and helping to fix a very challenging housing issue. There was not enough available housing or workforce to build enough fast enough. At that time, the Section 8 waiting list was 1,200. I saw this a few years ago, but no one was selling machines. Under my general contractors insurance, I can build 10 houses 1-4 units per year. I need to know how to get a machine, trained, financing, etc. I have available lots that I own Free and Clear to start building.

You and me both... Its coming, but when we show it, its not going to do more harm for our industry than good. MudBots was first to market but we were never in a race to print the first home. Our direction has always been to focus on the quality of our printers and the quality of our prints. Competition keeps talking about faster, cheaper and better. Haven't seen a single video that shows this yet. We are the only company in the world that doesn't stop every day after 12 inches. Do the math, those cold joints are ugly and expensive. We don't stop until were at wall height. Our walls are beautiful without the expense and time to cover embarrassing prints. After seeing our consistency, does anyone doubt their ability to print a house? Our customers don't. We've sold more printers than everyone in the world combined. We offer more content than anyone but only 20% of what we share is on our site. If you are a serious buyer come see for yourself.
@polarbearigloo3 жыл бұрын
@@mudbots never questioned the volatility of the novelty of your 3d prints or yourself. I went through this channels videos and there is impressive things here. since most mixtures are a (trade secret) limits design and to be the next company to explode into production. Myself, I'm about 5 research papers in to the mixtures the printers from 44k to 1.2 million are drivers to the lack of entry/ city's and townships not approving of novelty construction methods. Most challenges for companies and for what you said yourself the margin is not in individual homes in a older video. Putting it in the category of neighborhood development with HOA's which can be off-putting. But construction firms need to make money so they steer away from individual homes for the setup and deconstruction. For this housing market being ridiculous and for affordable housing to prevent accelerated homelessness, there is a need for individual home construction to not be in the custom constraint. Between a available standard mix that can be ready baught (instead of a trade secret) with a printing framework to be 20k is optimal for construction with a mixer/ pump. The companies I see like sq4d, Icon have to much of a viscus quality and cracking when settling from there media presentations. correct you don't stop in the layer height and extrude until completion (at the curing rate). With that being the case why not sell the mixture and declare it as your IP? Your walls are great under a envelope. That's why I asked if one of your partners you trained has completed a home to display and show as a walkthrough. Information is cheap but vital for people who are craving it by the media storm especially for those who need a home. Realistic apertures is needed. Not just click Bait. Myself have used 4 different types of 3d printers from pla, abs, petg, and a few exotic fibers. So I understand marginally the process and is similar to ceramic like printing. But as I said above the main driver is municipalities, cost of entry (printer/equipment). In data analytics and always ask why to streamline productivity/ cost/ and most of all profitability. Your company for the videos I have seen are well educated in the challenges and for what others are not doing right.

So there's no option to just order, pay & receive the printer it has to be a process?
@mudbots3 жыл бұрын
Nope. The 3 week training is essential. Anyone that has been through it will agree that selling a printer without the training would be a train wreck. We need to protect our customers from ill prepared buyers that could make everyone look bad. Don't want to see a wall fall down with MudBots branding all over it. Hope everyone understands.
@311g3 жыл бұрын
In addition to protecting customers, the company also has to protect its brand and do its best to ensure that buyers are knowledgeable, sincere, and competent with their proprietary equipment.
