I kid you not, as of January 2024 I saw some pictures online of this car and thought that it would come out as a successor of the new "Supra" that they released. Turns out it's from 10 years ago!?!? This thing was truly ahead of it's time when it comes to design! Such a shame that we got a BMW instead of this..

I kid you not, i am that kid at the beginning of the video. I'm on my dad's shoulders, and it was one of the most magical days of my life. I used to go to that show, every, single, weekend. It was less than 15 minutes from my apartment in Foothill Ranch. I get so many memories flooding whenever i see this video. I remember my dad told me, "This is the only time you will ever see this car." I didnt believe him, so i told him, "Wont we see this car when it finally gets made?" He told me, "No, it will be different, just you wait." I didn't believe him, until the GR Supra came out in 2019. I thought, " He was right." Boy, this is hands down one of the most special days of my life. If you need proof that i remember this day, i was wearing an Oakland A's hat (because that was my favorite baseball team) and I was wearing an Illist sweatshirt. I cant remember if it had a Giraffe or a Hakosuka, but i remember this day. We drove in a 1970 4door Bamboo tan Datsun 510 which we still own to this day. I know this is 9 years too late, but sorry for getting in your video so much 😅 My dad had the beard, was in camo cargo shorts, and had a DSPORT shirt, and I was that little kid. I loved this car as soon as I saw it because I watched Initial D with my dad, and I fell in love with JDM cars, and I still do to this day.

Oh what the Supra could have been. The car actually suits this front end, unlike (IMO) the Supra. Beautiful car.

Best thing is rear active spoiler , but when he shuts the door and the thing shakes like a cheap bog filled panel what a heap of sh&t typical car sales dude he knows that it would shake and not fit properly - very sad

I don't mind if it has a BMW Engine, this FT1 is a proper chasis and not a Z4 looking Supra.

BMW have buy the supra to not have rival in europe and usa, and restricted a new supra in HP and torque and upgrade the bmw m2 as supra.

Technically you could be driving this, you just need a Lexus LC, a shitload of money and an incredible amount of patience.
