Not a Bill Dance story but because of watching him I have watched other celebrity fisherman and one day in Oklahoma I was standing in line at the chicken counter at a Love's travel center and in walked Jimmy Houston and I recognized him immediately. About that time they asked if I was ready to order. I said " there's no way I could make a Hall of Fame Bassmaster and perhaps the biggest TV fisherman ever behind Bill Dance wait on me to order, Sir please go ahead of me I can't ask Roland Martin to wait for me." Houston was laughing and signed a ten dollar bill I carry with Lou Holtz, Dave Wanstatt autographs already on it. He would laugh at me everytime he made eye contact with me untill he left.

I'm a bank fisherman in memphis tn.im not afraid snakes i have caught cottonmouth moccasins and copperheads and a whole lot of other really, really huge snakes over 40 years I been in places on foot, waded in water Waist deep with cottonmouths as thick as my thigh all around me to catch bass over 8lbs. I know where and how to Go get em'. Sometimes if you want to catch a severely giant Bass you don't need technology or a boat , you need giant balls!

His name is Tom Knapp and he held the world record for skeet shooting with a shotgun. My Dad Randall Stark actually beat Tom Knapp in the long shot rifle contest in the 90's. He lost to him in the quick draw contest and skeet shooting. I saw Tom with my 2 eyes shoot 10 clay pigeons with a pump shotgun in the ai over a pond. They never hit the water😂

Bill, I was at Reelfoot Lake last month and saw it is to become a Signature Lake. I have been fishing there for bass the last 20 years and the fishery is in a decline. The local commercial fisherman can verify this. Asian carp have overwhelmed the lake. The dam needs an electric barrier and the commercial fisherman need reefer truck available to create a route to get rid of them. Please, we need you help to restore the Reelfoot fishery.
