Did this a couple days ago and had a similar experience. Not as bad as I was expecting. I used lemon wedges instead of popsicles. Glad I had the procedure because my doctor found and removed a large polyp. He said it probably would’ve become cancer in a few years.

I mixed my first half with orange soda. Bad idea. Tasted disgusting. lol.

I’m halfway through my first dose. I didn’t put anything in it but chasing it with tonic water which seems to really help mask the flavor due to the bitterness. (Obviously not with alcohol!)

If you block your nose while drinking it cuts the taste. I am still going to try doing this with it. Thank you for doing this.

Does anyone know how the taste of Suprep compares to the taste of GaviLyte? I had a colonoscopy and EGD recently, and I was given GavilLyte. I was able to get all of it down except for the last 16oz. My bowel movements were clear, and I was about to throw up. I tried alternating with Gatorade and sprite, but I still just couldn’t do it. I’d almost start gagging before it had even gotten to my mouth. My bowels ended up not being clear though. They are looking at doing a capsule endoscopy because all of my colon and stomach biopsies came back normal. I asked about doing a MiraLax prep (since it doesn’t have a taste), and they brought up Suprep. I’ve just never been good with intolerable tastes. I had to start swallowing pills at 6 or 7 because I couldn’t handle the taste of liquid antibiotics.

Tastes like soap

I just had my first bottle about 10 minutes ago and I had the same reaction....not bad at all. To me it tastes like those 5 Hour Energy drinks in the tiny bottles. Edit: I didn't add anything extra to mine, just water.

I'm going in two days and this is my 1st time, reading the comments isn't helping but I'm gonna man up and drink the prep. because it's too late to turn back now, I'm not much of an eater and I hope the prep. doesn't make me throw up, I hope that the 2nd prep. is gone before I get to the clinic because it would be a damn shame if I make a big mess while I'm under, I believe the idea of making a mess has got me stressed out!!!

Here’s a pro tip for anyone going for their first one. Do not eat anything the day before the prep. If the procedure is on Tuesday morning. Eat breakfast on Sunday and don’t eat again until after the procedure. It makes the prep much easier. The less that needs to come out, the better. Deal with the temporary hunger. It’s worth it.
