No, they are giving it away free to people who have the goggle x AND bought directly from Caddx. If you bought from elsewhere you have to try to get it from them, but the thing is, 1/2 of "them" don't know anything about it, and you are stiff out of luck chasing a possibility. It's a clunky stupid afterthought, if I wanted a box taped to my "gyro enabled" goggles to fix head tracking, an advertised feature, I'd have at least tried to make it look like it was meant to go there rather than like a cigarette packet covered in wire. It is the most inelegant piece of BS I've ever seen and makes me wild as hell.

I have ADHD, my equipment must be as clean as possible. No cables or protruding modules, just a power cord. Let Caddx make a goggle with a slot for an analog module with support for backpack ExpressLrs and, of course, a DVR for the analog signal. This would be a game changer (although late) I use Avatar goggles, I like them much more than X, they are not as tacky ;)

How about a linear antenna on the OTG receiver and circular on the quad ?

To me going v1 with any fpv firmware from any vendor is frought with risk. I will almost always wait for v2 to avoid disappointment and headaches. Thats just how I roll

Like the app and extended range module (wifi and BT ...), the original goggles came with head tracking capability. it appears that the partnership with the gimbal HW company came later and the internal head tracker won't work with those gimbals. So not sure about giving them props for basically screwing up and turning a nice looking goggle into (as someone else put it) a borgafied device. If they were really trying to fix it, they would allow for the internal module to be used as is, perhaps through a trainer port like the tracker I purchased from Medlin with his Pro gimbal.

It's cool they do it for free but it's still a crappy integration of it and has a lot holes and many DIY solutions are way better and smoother.

This is why I went with HDZero. What a horrid solution to something that shouldn't have been a problem to start with.

I have the X and I think this board is absolutely stupid. They should have made an upgrade board to replace the existing one inside the goggles. And upgrade the cooling fan too.

It happened to me too , bitrate sudden drop from 40 to 6 and disconnect then not able to reconnect until Gps rescue bring my quad landed .

The head tracker signal goes through the same cable as the analog signal.

I would like to see a detailed review. I think it is not possible to record DVR 😞 but it should solve the usability for Rapidfire/SpeedyBee. Still don’t know if I should go for Googles X (need Analog)

Why just not integrate it 😕 from the beginning 🤔.

Unfortunately it is illegal for us in Australia to use goggles outdoors. We are only allowed to fly fpv drones indoors or be a member of a model aircraft association that has approval to fly FPV outside.

Hasn’t this been addressed yet?? I recently got a Nazgul Evoque but only took it out once, now I am worried so not gonna fly again until they fix this!

I think you need to try the Pavo 20 pro. The Pavo 20 (non pro) is actually best in class imo. It's a 2inch quad with a lot of power for it's size and weight and can even do a bit of mid-ranging with a moderately sized battery on board. Often confused with the Pavo pico, not the same thing.

I can confirm this issue. However I’ve noticed it only happens shortly after taking off, for me. So what I do is arming the quad and wait about 10 to 15 seconds before really taking off. I hope it stays like this and doesn’t happen when I am far our in the field flying it or flying above obstacles.

Randomly lost video 4 times. Twice right after take off with video back on after a few seconds than twice while about to land with lost video never coming back on! In my case each fail has happened with the same 6S 9000mAh Li-Ion Battery. So whatever is happening that one battery chemistry choice triggers it. DJI's technical team has examined the situation and determined that it was indeed a software-related issue. First few times that scared the crap out of me! Like he said in the video, Flying with a safe time to react buffer being prepared with verified working RTH on a expresslrs radio, now I'm ok with flying with those goggles still.:)

Low power mode when disarmed can be turned off in the google 3 menu under settings then control. No need to cut wires and you get full power all the time. Air unit will get very hot if sitting/not flying so be careful. Probably not the answer to the issues but I have not lost connection completely yet in 50-100 flights. Probably best to wait for an update however.

Hello! Help me, I have a problem that betafly spins only two front motors, and blheli sees only two esc. My stack is v speedybee f407 v3. Maybe the problem is in the connector of the stack itself?

The response from DJI has been scary bad. Mads and the community are doing great work, giving DJI a head start on this issue. A non NPC response from DJI would be more reassuring. The first step to solving any problem is admitting there is one.

It's probably a pretty simple mistake in the code of the Goggles 3... It should be easy to fix - once they find it, of course. But yeah, it's kinda frustrating.

Thanks guys, I haven't used the Goggles 3 with the 03 Air unit on my plane yet. I use the Goggles 3 with the Air 3 with no issues, just saying in case anyone is wondering. Mads Tech is awesome, been binge watching his channel for a month now.
